Wild Secrets Sex Census 2026
It’s census year in Australia and we’re asking all Aussies to fill in the Wild Secrets Sex Census to answer the big questions. Like are Australians satisfied with their sex lives? Who’s kinkier, Aussie cities or regional areas? And is there such a thing as too many sex toys?
What do we fantasise about? What turns us on? And how many of us have felt pressure to fake an orgasm, or pretend to enjoy sex more than we actually did? As Australia’s favourite purveyor of pleasure products we think it’s imperative that we’re able to talk about sex and sexuality without shame – and that starts with getting data.
“If I could go back and tell my younger self one thing about sex, it would be a big hug with a squeeze and a giggle then slide right back and lock on to serious eyes so she knows what I say next is for her. It’s ok to want it. It’s ok to want to be wanted, and it’s ok not to want it too. Consensual sex is pleasure for all but it’s hard to feel enjoyment when you think it’s something you have to do to be wanted or a requirement of.” – Anonymous, Wild Secrets Sex Census, 2026
Our sex census is anonymous, takes 10 minutes to fill out, and will help us normalise having conversations about sexual wellness. We cover all gender identities, sexualities, and relationship structures. Whether you’re 100% vanilla or the kinkiest person you know, we want to hear from you!
When do I fill out the Wild Secrets Sex Census?
The Wild Secrets Sex Census is open right now. You have until 9AM Wednesday the 12th of August AEST to fill it out. Just follow the link and answer the questions!
Who can fill out the Wild Secrets Sex Census?
The Wild Secrets Sex Census is open to all residents and citizens of Australia aged 18 and above.
How will the data from the Wild Secrets Sex Census be used?
Primarily we’re doing this to discover more about Australians sex lives. We’ll be using it to generate and share insights with you here on our blog, on our social media channels, and also getting experts to analyse it and report back on what they find. For full transparency, it’s possible some of the insights may inform our business decisions in terms of what products we bring out, and what events and experiences we curate around Australia. However, we don’t know what data we’ll get back, or if it will be useful to us as a business. And we’re okay with that.
What if I’m not comfortable answering some of the questions?
We’ve put an option of ‘prefer not to answer’ for a number of questions that we think people may either be hesitant to answer, or may not know what their answer is yet. Having said that, this is anonymous. We encourage you to be as honest as possible in the moment you’re filling out the form. If you change your mind later, that’s okay too. Desire and consent are ongoing, living things. You’re allowed to change your mind over time.
Will the Wild Secrets Sex Census data be used for marketing purposes?
Not directly. You have the option to provide contact information if you want to enter our draw to win a $500 Wild Secrets Pleasure Pack. However this doesn’t opt you in to our marketing. If you want to receive our emails to get specials, sales and exclusive offers, you can sign up to our newsletter here. All contact details will be removed from the dataset before analysis.
Wait, there’s a prize?
Sure, this is voluntary, and we’re asking people to share some very personal information with us. Everyone who completes the survey has the option of entering a prize draw for a Wild Secrets Pleasure Pack valued at $500.
